How to Get Pregnant

My story of over coming infertility.

I tried for six years to get pregnant. It was heartbreaking. My husband and I planned and saved up so that I could stay at home with the kids after becoming a mom. We were so ready to be parents. Then month after month I was disappointed to discover I wasn't pregnant yet again. I went to three different doctors. I had ultra sounds, blood work, exploratory surgeries, and even a CAT scan. No one could figure out why I wasn't getting pregnant. My doctor knew how desperate I was to get pregnant, so she suggested that I quit my job as an attempt to reduce my stress level. I quit working and a year later I still wasn't pregnant.

Then I discovered two books. The first one is called Taking Charge of Your Fertility. The other book was an ebook that contained a fertility diet. I since have found the same diet in a paper back book that is a third the price. These two books together are powerful weapons to help you get pregnant. The first book goes into detail about understanding your body's fertility cycle. The second book is full of great tips on getting pregnant.

Trying to Conceive Tips

I finally overcame my infertility after nearly six years of being unable to conceive. I used the information in these two books to get pregnant. Here is what I did to get pregnant:

Followed my fertility cycle closely according to Taking Charge of Your Fertility.

Ate the fertility diet.

Used Preseed, the only personal lubricant that aides your husband's sperm to reach your egg.

Relaxed and reduced my stress level.

Learn When to Get Pregnant - The must have book for anyone having trouble getting pregnant.

If you want to know when to get pregnant in your particular cycle, then this book is a must have. It goes way beyond the rhythm method. If your cycles aren't regular, then ovulation calculator and counting the days of your cycles won't help you determine your most fertile days. Taking Charge of Your Fertility uses FAM to explain when to conceive by examining and explaining your fertility cycle. This book teaches you how to examine your cervical position, cervical mucus, basal body temperature and more to determine which days are your fertile days. The FAM method has been used successfully for decades to both avoid and achieve pregnancy as desired.

Taking Charge of Your Fertility, 10th Anniversary Edition: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health
This comprehensive book explains how to practice the fertility awareness method (FAM), a natural, scientifically proven form of birth control (which is not to be confused with the ineffective "rhythm" method). Author Toni Weschler has been teaching fertility awareness for almost 20 years.

Trying to Conceive Tips - Fertility DIet - This book will help you get pregnant fast

If you want to get pregnant and are having trouble, then trying to conceive needs to become a lifestyle. That means eating right and caring for your body now in order to increase your chances of conceiving.

This book spells out in very clear detail what you need to be doing and eating in order to get pregnant. I could have saved myself years of heartache had I only found this book sooner. This book guides you through adopting a new, healthy lifestyle that will greatly increase your fertility. Some of the changes recommended are:

Cutting back on red meat and trans fatsGetting protein and iron from veggies and nutsChoosing whole-fat milk and even ice creamDrinking coffee, tea, and alcohol in moderationLosing weight (if needed) and exercising

The Tools I used to Conceive

I used Pre-Seed and the following ovulation predictors to help get pregnant.

Increase Your Chances of Getting Pregant with Pre-Seed - I highly recommend this lubricant to anyone wanting to get pregnant fast.

The internet is full of successful pregnancy stories thanks to Preseed, and I'm one of them. Earlier I mentioned the importance of your body's ph when trying to conceive. Diet is an important component to managing your body's ph level, but Preseed also helps make your ph level more hospitable to sperm.

Pre-Seed Lubricant Multi-use, 40-gram tube with 9 applicators (Pack of 2)
Pre-Seed Lubricant Multi-use, 40-gram tube with 9 applicators (Pack of 2)
Pre-Seed is the only intimate lubricant that it is safe to use when trying to conceive. Pre-Seed's patented formula was uniquely developed by a woman Sperm Physiologist to match fertile cervical mucus in pH, osmolality and viscosity, providing an optimal sperm environment for couples who are trying to conceive. Most lubricants harm sperm or reduce motility and should not be used while trying to conceive. Pre-Seed's formula is the only moisturizing intimate lubricant that does not interfere with human sperm motility and DNA quality, or damage embryo development.

Ovulation Kits - Ovulation predictor kits - find out when you ovulate.

If you've been having a hard time getting pregnant, then it's time to track your fertility. Ovulation test and a digital basal thermometer can help you determine which days are your most fertile, helping you get pregnant faster.

How Long have You Been TTC? - Don't get discouraged.
